How this works in practice
Let’s say you sign up for our weekly newsletter by entering your name and email address on our Newsletter page. We store that information on a secure server and use it only to send you the newsletter. If you later email us to unsubscribe, we remove your details from the mailing list immediately and confirm the change. If you ask us what data we hold, we will send you a copy of your name and email address within 30 days. If you believe your email was misspelled, you can request a correction. At any point, you can withdraw your consent by emailing privacy@torontopost.org, and we will delete your data unless we are legally required to keep it.
